On partnership

Fund a new type of learning initiative.

Scalable, sustainable, and measurable. You pick the community. We deliver whatever they're missing, from software to a full container, and report every outcome back to you in real time.

The gap

Most aid money never reaches a student.

Aid tripled to $17B a year. Illiteracy by age 10 still climbed from 57% to 70%. The money is moving. The learning is not.

15% reaches a student
  • 60%Admin & overhead
  • 25%Wasted textbooks
  • 15%Reaches a student

Capyo was built to close that gap. We don't send money. We ship the classroom itself, line-itemed, named, traceable.

How partnership works

Six steps, from first conversation to live impact data.

Every deployment ships as one pre-packaged program. Same six steps, every country, every classroom.

  1. 01

    Talk & match

One conversation. We learn what the community already has, what's missing, and what your priorities are. By the end, we propose a fit and a tier.

  2. 02

    Agree

We put scope, calendar, deliverables, and outcomes in writing. You sign once. No surprise quote, no scope creep, no second pass.

  3. 03

    Build

We assemble the entire program. Software localized to the language. Devices, infrastructure, curriculum, teacher training plan, all sourced before anything ships.

  4. 04

    Ship & train

We deliver to the site, install everything, and train the local teachers ourselves. You get first photos on day one and a locked go-live date.

  5. 05

    Go live

Classroom opens. Students start learning. The platform writes back to your dashboard from the first session, with attendance, time-on-task, and lesson progress.

  6. 06

    Measure & report

From day one and every term after, the Capyo Impact Test (EGRA and EGMA-aligned) tracks literacy and numeracy gains per student. Results land on your dashboard the same day they're collected.

Imagine it's you. A handful of these classrooms, set down in the most underserved places on earth, where many of the students walking through the door haven't sat in school in years. Your name on the wall. We send you the photos, the videos, the test results. You watch them grow up.

How we measure

Every classroom reports its gains, every term.

Capyo gives every student a short reading and math test on day one and at the end of every unit. Partners see literacy and numeracy lift per student, per classroom, and across the year, in a single report.

Built on the same instruments used by USAID and most ministries of education. The test is public. The numbers are too.

  • Reading Fluency and comprehension (EGRA-aligned)
  • Math Numeracy and arithmetic (EGMA-aligned)
  • Local Adapted to the language of instruction

Four kinds of partner. One classroom.

The way you measure changes. The work doesn't.

  1. CSR-grade

    Companies

CSR-grade impact, the kind boards approve. A co-branded classroom in a real community, with a year of footage and photos for campaigns.

  2. Personal

    Family offices

Personal philanthropy that runs like an investment. Pick the country, meet the educator, visit any time. Live dashboard, quarterly write-up.

  3. Programmatic

    Foundations

Measurable outcomes against a defensible cost basis. Reports that survive due diligence. Unit economics per deployment, audit-ready documentation.

  4. LP-grade

    Impact funds

Outcomes that drop straight into LP frameworks. Student-level metrics, EGRA + EGMA aligned, Cohen's d of 0.3 or higher term over term.

Where we deploy

Not just schools. We also run in hospitals , refugee centers , and orphanages . Same platform, same measurement, different setting.

On the ground

Someone local leads every site we run.

Capyo does not deploy without one. Each container, each classroom, each cycle is led by someone who lives where the work happens. Same street. Same school. They open the doors. They keep them open.

Our promise

Backing Capyo means trusting an outfit that moves at the pace your money deserves.

Capyo runs on startup time inside a sector that runs on academic time. The classroom we scope this quarter is teaching students the next.

  1. We ship in weeks, not budget cycles.

From first call to a live classroom in weeks. Container, curriculum, connectivity, teacher training, all on one calendar you can read.

  2. Outcomes are measured, not assumed.

Every classroom reports student progress in real time. The dashboard opens day one and stays open. The numbers are published, not promised.

  3. Run by educators we'd stake the mission on.

Every deployment is anchored by a credentialed local educator. Dr. Alexis Nizigiyimana leads our work in Burundi. The standard, not the exception.

Contribution

Help fund a Capyo deployment.

A single deployment serves 300 students for two full years of learning, teacher support, and dashboards backed by a written calendar. Donations run through Global Impact Canada (GIC), with a receipt for every gift.

Questions

Questions partners ask.

How long from first call to a live classroom?

Eight weeks is the standard pace for most deployments, faster for software-only programs, slightly longer for full container builds. We commit to a calendar in writing at agreement.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes. Donations at every tier are processed through Global Impact Canada (GIC). You receive a charitable receipt at the registered amount, eligible for full deduction under Canadian tax rules.

How do I see what the money is doing?

A live dashboard opens on day one of your deployment, showing attendance, engagement, time-on-task, and Capyo Impact Test scores. You also get a quarterly partner report and ongoing photos, videos, and field updates.

Can I pick the country or community?

Yes. We have an active waitlist across more than twenty countries. Tell us where you want your impact to land and we'll match you to a community that fits your timing and scope. Multi-country programs are also possible.
