A few of the shapes this takes.

There is no single profile of an ally. Most of what reaches a Capyo classroom started as someone offering a discount, a few hours, or a connection.

  1. 01 Logistical discounts

    Shipping at cost, or below. Partners who move our containers and crates for cheaper than we'd ever pay on a quote.

  2. 02 Tech

    Laptops through a corporate program. Devices coming off a refresh cycle, donated or sold at a steep program rate.

  3. 03 Customs clearance

    People on the ground at the port. Handling inland clearance and last-mile so a container moves the day it arrives, not the week it arrives.

  4. 04 Software

    API credits, a year at a time. Providers we use heavily who put us on a program plan so the platform runs without metering us.

  5. 05 Engineering

    Pro-bono engineering hours. Senior engineers who ship a feature in a weekend and stay close to keep it healthy.

  6. 06 Legal & advisory

    Pro-bono legal and advisory. Lawyers, accountants, and operators who answer the phone when we need a real opinion fast.

  7. 07 Equipment

    Whatever the classroom needs to feel like one. Sports gear, books, supplies, instruments. Anything that turns the room into a school day.

How it starts

From your first email to a real deployment.

Most of what shows up in the shipping calendar began with a single note: I think I can help with this thing, where do I send it. We answered with the deployment it would fit and what we'd need. A few weeks later, something moved.

Week 0

The note arrives.

One paragraph, often less. You tell us what you can bring and where you're based.

Week 1

We answer with a fit.

The deployment your contribution would land at, what we'd need from you, and the calendar.

Weeks 4 to 12

Something moves.

A container clears customs, a license arrives, an engineer pushes a feature. Photos follow.

What you get back

  • A named credit, or anonymity.

  • Photos and field updates from the school.

  • A standing invite to visit, in person or virtual.

  • A live line to a founder, a year later.
